Oil Burner Service Plan Options

Our oil burner service plans are designed to meet the needs of our customers. Giving you peace of mind and security for your heating system needs. With several options to choose from, you can find a plan that is suitable for you.

Service Plan Option #1: Annual Maintenance Contract

Plan Option #1 includes your oil burner maintenance and tune up, and *access to emergency service.

Professional preventative maintenance is strongly recommended annually for all heating systems.

• Service testing and adjusting of your oil burner for maximum efficiency.
• All safety and operating controls will be checked.
• Motors and bearings will be lubricated if applicable.
• The electrodes, burner motor fan, heat exchanger, flue pipe, and chimney base will be cleaned.
• We will test for smoke, carbon dioxide, and stack temperature, and will set the proper firing rate.
• Replace the fuel filter cartridge, pump strainer, gasket, and burner nozzle.

LMT Oil, Inc. agrees to replace or repair for free (including ALL labor charges*during Normal Business Hours and 1 Emergency Call during the contract period) the following oil burner parts that are presently part of your heating system:

• Boiler glass gauge and washers
• Blast tube & nozzle assembly
• Blower fan belt
• Blower fan and limit switch
• Electrical thermal switch
• Oil burner coupling
• Oil burner electrodes and cables
• Oil burner fan and coupling
• Oil burner fire-o-matic oil valve (flare only)
• Oil burner fuel pump (single stage)
• Oil burner motor 1/8 hp max
• OLil burner emergency switch
• Oil burner transformer
• Oil filter and cartridge
• Oil tank gauge (gauge only)
• Thermostat (t-87 or alike, heat only)
• * 8000 series relay not covered

Service Plan Option#1 Cost: $349.00

Service Plan Option #2: Water Parts Plus

Option #2 offers you greater peace of mind. This plan includes oil burner maintenance and tune up, *access to emergency service and parts as listed in Plan Option#1(including ALL labor charges*during Normal Business Hours and 2 Emergency Calls during the contract period) the following additional parts that are presently part of your heating system:

• All parts in Option #1
• Air Scoop
• Air Vent (Hy-Vent)
• Aquastat
• Boiler Pressure Relief Valve (15# Pop Safety or 30# Relief Valve)
• Cad cell relay and accessories
• Circulator (Taco 007)
• Circulator Relay
• Combo Fill and Backflow
• Expansion Tank
• Low Water Cuttoff (Electronic Only)
• Oil Tank valve
• Piping within 3’ of boiler
• Pressuretrol
• Primary stack relay (to be replaced with CAD cell relay & accessories $240; *8000 series relay not covered)
• Zone valve power head
• Zone valve transformer

Service Plan Option#2 Cost: $449.00

Service Plan Option #3: Total Peace of Mind

Option #3 offers you Total Peace of Mind. This plan includes oil burner maintenance and tune up, *access to emergency service and parts as listed in Plan Option#1(including ALL labor charges*during Normal Business Hours and Unlimited Emergency Calls during the contract period) and all piping in the Heating System and Domestic Water Piping including up to the Water Heater presently part of your heating system.

Service Plan Option#3 Cost: $649.00

Emergency Service Protection

*Access to emergency service is as defined in each Option above according to the hours below.

Emergency service is provided to all service plan customers of LMT Oil, Inc., according to the following schedule:

• Winter: Sept. 30-May 1, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Summer: May 2-Sept. 29, 8 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week

*If any carpentry or masonry work, cutting, welding or other extraordinary work is required the homeowner will assume all responsibility. The homeowner is also responsible for piping or permits, where applicable.

*Blocked chimneys and faulty chimney drafts not covered.

*Oil tanks not covered

Note: Under the terms of Option #1 and Option #2, we are not liable for the inability to supply parts that are no longer available due to obsolescence, nor do Option #1 or Option #2 cover the replacement of the complete oil burner or complete circulator. Among parts not covered are electrical wiring and fuses, the boiler block and jacket, furnace heat exchanger, water heater storage tank, tankless heater, tankless heater gasket leaks, combustion chamber, oil burning housing, Makers (boiler mates and aqua boosters), oil-fired water heaters, duct work, or duct cleaning. Exclusions are generally considered as corroded or rotted units, replacement parts, or their substitutes that are no longer available from any manufacturer. Repairs on excluded items will be billed at our prevailing rate for labor (plus parts). All provisions of our maintenance service policy are in force. This information merely identifies free parts and labor covered under the Option #1, Option #2, and Option#3 service plans.

Terms and Conditions:

This contract is transferable to a new homeowner if sold during the term of the Contract and the new owner purchases all fuel from LMT Oil. LMT Oil, Inc. reserves the right to decline this service contract after inspection due to the condition of the heating system. There is absolutely no refund for early cancellation of any Contract.

Charges for labor and/or materials arising from services performed before acceptance of this contract cannot be credited.

This agreement does not include:

Parts or labor required as a result of abnormal conditions such as water damage, fire, flood, freezing, hurricane, or other such acts of God, power failure, failure to check water level cutoff, damage, or loss resulting from delays or failure to render service for reasons beyond control and/or customer negligence.

We will not be liable for damages resulting from heat failure in a vacant or unoccupied home, whether it is burner failure or lack of fuel, as vacant property should be checked daily by the owner.

LMT Oil, Inc. service contract is limited to a reasonable value of service and parts offered in each contract, not to exceed $1,000.00 under options 1 & 2 and $1,500.00 with additional options.

*** Any repairs that will need to be done due to the use of biofuel do not qualify through this service contract***
